CAR CRASH IN COLOMBIA

Fifteen people died and 44 injured last sunday in a car crash in Colombia, a bus without brakes crashed with another 2 vehicles.

This car crash was in Granada, in the department of Cundinamarca, 30 km south of Bogotá and the road that conects the capital with southwest of the country was closed said Coronel Jaime Enrique Moreno, director of the police road department.

As a result of this car crash 15 people died in the scene and other 44 were taken to different hospitals.

One bus haven't brakes in a decrease. In Colombia yearly die over 5000 people in transit accidents and road accidents.

WHAT MAKES A MOVIE OR TV PROGRAM VIOLENT?

A movie or TV program can be not violent at first. Cannot be the principal idea of the creator, but in some many situations and in some many ways the movie or TV program can show us a type of violence. Can we talk about family violence for example, a father is yelling his daugther because he thinks she is just responsable for housekeeping, or somebody is hitting another person with a bate and they are laughting, maybe that's funny, but it's violence and we don't note that.

IS SOME VIOLENCE IN MOVIES AND TV PROGRAMS ACCEPTABLE?

All depends of the kind and the grade of violence, in some cases, the violence is not acceptable

DOES VIOLENCE IN THE MEDIA REFLECT A VIOLENT SOCIETY, OR IS A SOCIETY VIOLENT BECAUSE OF THE LEVEL OF VIOLENCE SHOWN IN THE MEDIA?

Sometimes we can't see the violence in real life. Some documentaries show us the level of violence in our society. It's hard to think about everything we see in movies, can be real, but it is. We think the violent movies is a reflect of our violent society.

WOULD YOU BE FOR OR AGAINST BUNNING VIOLENCE IN THE MEDIA?

We are for bunning violence in the media, because in this case, we can see the real world many things that we have seen in the movies, really happens, but we know that some people are not suitable for to see all kind of movies.

We think all depends of the level of the violence and the peple who see this movies. For example, a kid can't see a violent movie because all kids are susceptible.
